I remember the days of assisting the indie wiki movement, though that was because I was insistent on having the Super Mario Wiki culture of the 2000s permeate throughout the entire wiki space. Ended in failure. That website has an agenda attached to it: For example, why isn't Zelda Dungeon Wiki linked to Indie Wiki Buddy (no offense to zeldawiki.wiki)? No. I'm a sysop (admin) at the Fandom Pokemon Wiki, which is why I linked that. Getting Indie Wiki Buddy would prevent you from being able to see the work I do there or even see the more lenient content policies that I advocate for, like the Goomba article on the Zelda Wiki on Fandom (which has links to a few of my GFDL wikis on the front page, something that I asked Fandom's permission for first, since they only disallow links to wikis that have moved off of a platform).

In fairness, the indie wiki movement does have a multi-range of individuals part of it. It's just that I don't get along with nearly all of them. The reason why I don't want to use Bulbapedia is because they have a noncommercial license, which is inconsistent with Wikipedia's and most other wikis, and there's been a lack of Pokemon content in the standard CC-BY-SA, and even GFDL, all these years because of that. Those are local policies on your wikis. Doesn't mean it applies on my spaces. If any issues arise, I've already asked HylianAngel on AC Fandom (where she's a content mod) to report them to me. If it's a simple "I don't like you using it," those will be ignored, especially if there's no suitable quality alternative. In other words, it's only if I need to be legally compliant, as necessary.
